t-bone steaks and wine sauce

Smoky and tender beef gets the royal treatment with a red wine marinade and sauce.

T-Bone Steaks and Wine Sauce

4 T-Bone Steaks, 1/2" thick
1 Shallot, finely diced
1 cup Merlot Wine, or your favorite dry red wine
3/4 cup Moore's Original Marinade (We buy ours from Academy Sports and Outdoors)
1/2- 3/4 cup Water
1/4 cup A1 Steak Sauce
1 Tbsp. Chipotle Tabasco, optional
1 Tbsp. Honey

In a large freezer bag, combine all ingredients except steaks, seal and shake well. Add steaks to bag, and marinate for 30 minutes, turning once.

Remove steaks from bag, and reserve marinade.

Preheat an oiled grill to high.
Reduce heat to medium-high and grill steaks for 4 minutes per side for medium doneness (use Charcoal Bob's Cookout Calculator for your perfect steak).

In a sauce pan over medium heat, reduce marinade. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve sauce on side or drizzled over grilled steaks.
