peanut butter pie

As promised...

This pie is silky smooth and ultra rich.

I have been making this pie since I was in junior high!
I loved it then; I love it now!

Peanut Butter Pie

6 oz. Oreo Pie Crust
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 (8 oz.) package Softened Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 (8 oz.) package Cool Whip, thawed
4 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped

Chop peanut butter cups into bite-sized pieces.

Beat the peanut butter with the cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk and continue to whip. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Fold in the Cool Whip and beat mixture until silky smooth, scraping the sides as needed.

Spoon filling into crust and spread smooth with a spatula.
Garnish with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Chill for at least an hour before serving.

Recipe can be doubled. You might need it!

Sorry the picture is not fabulous. :(
Do ya like my pie tin?! Ha!

This looks wonderful but the funny thing about me is I like PB&Js but nothing else with peanut butter.

Sounds yummy. I have a pb pie I've been making for a while now. It's super simple. I buy the pre-made crust (like you), I spread a thin layer of hot fudge on the bottom of the crust, I make a batch of vanilla cook n serve pudding in the microwave and then stir in 1/2 cup of creamy pb and pour it into the pie shell, I top with cool whip and then I put some of the hot fudge in a ziplock bag & snip the corner and squeeze squiggly lines on top of the cool whip.
