ABC's 20/20 aired an episode on Friday, 1/30/09, about how and why we fall in love. This show featured Dr. Helen Fisher, biological anthropologist and world-renowned expert on romantic love and attachment.
Dr. Fisher has organized a free personality test for chemistry.com.
While I have no intentions or interest in online dating, I am always curious as to where I am on the personality spectrum. And maybe a little curious about my dating life (or lack there of).
This chemistry-based personality test categorizes people into 1 of 4 categories:
Builder- Traditional, Dutiful, Loyal
Negotiator- Romantic, Empathetic, Emotionally expressive
Director- Analytical, Logical, Tough minded, Decisive
Explorer- Risk takers, novelty seekers, Curious, Creative
My personality type was not a surprise. Actually, it is a bit creepy that they can identify someone so accurately... Do they know me or what?!
And weirder still, I am in the same category as Oprah, Tolstoy, Gandhi, and wait for it ....... Bill Clinton (huh?)!
