Whipped Red Potatoes
1 lb. Red Potatoes, washed and halved
1/2 stick Butter, melted
1/2 cup Milk (I use skim), warm
1/4 cup Heavy Cream, warm
Salt and Pepper, to taste
In a large stock pot, fill 1/2 way with cold water and add halved potatoes. Salt water liberally. Bring to a boil, and reduce to simmer.
Cook potatoes until fork-tender.
Drain well, and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
Add butter, salt and pepper, and cream to potatoes. Using an electric hand mixer on low, whip potatoes. Gradually add in warmed milk until desired consistency is reached. Whip until smooth and creamy. Taste for salt and pepper; season more if needed.
Serve alongside Caramelized Onion Hamburger Steaks, or with your favorite comfort food.

Yummy! What time is dinner?
This is so deliciously bad for someone on a diet. :)

Heavy cream! No wonder those look so good! Oh my...I could swear I smell those potatoes. (As if on cue my stomach just growled LOL!)
Both the steak & potatoes are looking yumm-a-licious. I love red potatoes (growing up we always called them new potatoes). They good - and man, with heavy cream - I'm sure it's no different! :)
